Every year, a company receives the award "Tourism Company of the Year" in Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle. - a scholarship for entrepreneurship in the tourism industry in Götene and Lidköping municipalities. The award is given to promote entrepreneurship in the tourism industry, reward companies that have contributed to increased tourism and to inspire more people to become entrepreneurs in tourism.
The company that receives the award contributes to Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle's strategies for sustainable tourism development, which means, among other things, that the operations contribute to creating an attractive destination for both residents and visitors all year round.
– This is incredibly honorable, a few weeks ago we received the national award "Event of the Year 2021" from the industry association Svensk Live, and the fact that we are now also being recognized and appreciated locally feels very nice, says Fredrik Holmdahl, Krall Event when he receives the award in Läckö on Thursday afternoon, July 14th.
The Tourism Company of the Year award in Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle 2021 is awarded to Krall Event with the following justification:
”"Events act as an engine for tourism flows and Krall Event, led by Fredrik Holmdahl, has been an important event player in Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle for many years. By continuously programming, arranging and project managing major events of a national nature, year-round, Krall Event contributes to the development of the tourism industry throughout the destination.".
During the pandemic, when many event organizers were having a tough time, Krall Event has also been on its toes and shown great creativity and enterprise by developing new concepts to be able to continue offering events to our municipality's residents and visitors. As soon as the pandemic restrictions eased in the summer of 2021, they were ready and launched the new concept "Läckö sessions" which became a big hit.
Krall Event is awarded the "Tourism Company of the Year in Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle" award for their commitment and entrepreneurship, and we look forward to them continuing to enrich the destination's event offering for many years to come!"”
The Tourism Company of the Year is chosen by the board of Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle and the award was presented to Fredrik Holmdahl on site at Läckö Castle on Thursday afternoon ahead of tonight's concert with Arvingarna, part of the Läckö sessions concept.
The award was presented by Anna Ohlin Ek, CEO of Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle AB and consists of 5,000 SEK in scholarship money.
– That we have a local organizer at the level of Krall Event that both contributes to programming our arenas but also manages events on assignment is an important prerequisite for enabling the breadth of events that we have in the destination and it is therefore extremely gratifying to be able to recognize the fine work that is being done through this award, says Anna Ohlin Ek.
