A suspected dangerous object has been found in the security checkpoint at Landvetter Airport. The alarm was raised at 3:40 p.m. The area around the security checkpoint has been cordoned off and the check-in hall is being evacuated. Parts of the airport have also been evacuated. It is unclear how many people have been affected by the evacuation.
The police are on site with several patrols.
“We need to find out what the object is,” says Caroline Karlsson, press spokesperson for the police in Region West. According to Swedavia, air traffic has not been affected by the incident.
– But we usually expect some delays in the event of that, says Ellen Laurin, press officer at Swedavia.
