The airline BRA has recruited Lars Resare as its new sustainability manager. Lars has extensive experience and solid knowledge of driving sustainable development in aviation. He has worked for many years at SAS and most recently comes from OKQ8. Lars will take up his position on June 19.
In his role as Chief Sustainability Officer, Lars will be part of the company's management team with the task of leading the company's work on the transition of aviation to net zero. BRA has been at the forefront for many years and has had a strong focus on transforming aviation. After the pandemic, the ambition has been further raised in terms of both goals, strategy and pace of transition. Domestic aviation will become fossil-free by 2030 and international aviation by 2045 at the latest.
