LFV Aviation Consulting AB and Knowledge Agency Europe AB have signed a framework agreement to share resources and collaborate on international projects. Both parties look forward to strengthening the relationship between the two companies. The main focus of the collaboration is System Wide Information Management, SWIM.

The importance of SWIM for Air Traffic Management (ATM) cannot be overstated. With the ever-increasing complexity of air traffic and the growing demand for safer and more efficient operations, the implementation of SWIM is becoming not only an advantage but a regulatory requirement.

SWIM consists of standards, infrastructure and governance that enable the management of Air Traffic Management and its exchange between qualified parties via interoperable services.

Driving innovation in air traffic control services

– We see a high demand for expertise and services related to the area of Air Traffic Management and especially SWIM services around the world. By collaborating with Knowledge Agency, we are strengthening the Swedish presence in the global aviation market with a strong team of experts with key knowledge in SWIM, says Maria Wall Petrini, CEO of LFV Aviation Consulting AB.

– The global market is recovering rapidly after Covid and we see a growing need for modernization and digitalization of air traffic control to become more efficient and also to increase capacity and safety in and around airports. We look forward to working more closely with the team from LFV Aviation Consulting, says Peter Olofsson, CEO of Knowledge Agency Europe AB.

The future of SWIM

”The right information at the right time is crucial to improving decision-making processes, optimizing resource utilization and reducing potential risks. SWIM fosters a collaborative environment where stakeholders can seamlessly exchange critical data, thereby promoting a more flexible transportation ecosystem,” says Peder Blomqvist, CIO and “Father of SWIM” at Knowledge Agency Europe AB.
