Customers have flocked back to SAS after the pilot strike ended. The number of SAS tickets sold in Norway is now at the same level as before the pandemic.

”"It was like flipping a switch. Today we can see that SAS ticket sales are not only as good as before the strike. Sales are on par with the time before the pandemic, that is, even a notch higher," says travel site Finn Reise's commercial director, Terje Berge, to Flysmart24.

He says that the messages are the same from their partners in both Sweden and Denmark.

The conflict between SAS and the pilots caused major losses for the company during the 15 days it lasted, before ending on July 19.

A new agreement was adopted in a vote among the four pilot associations in Norway, Sweden and Denmark on Saturday.

On the Stockholm Stock Exchange, SAS defies the increasing declines and increases by 1.8 percent.
