Starting today, September 15, Susanna Werkelin will take over the leadership of Lingmerths Resebyrå in Linköping. With over 20 years of experience from various roles in the travel industry, Susanna has solid experience. This strengthens the office in Linköping and the entire Lingmerths, which, despite the current pandemic, is investing in the future.
– This feels great! I have a lot of experience in the industry, and actually a past as a travel consultant at Lingmerths a few years ago. So now being able to return there in a new role is inspiring, says Susanna Werkelin.
Many industries and companies are being challenged significantly in the current circumstances, and travel agencies are no exception. However, Lingmerths is standing strong. With several good years behind them and a strong cash flow, they can make investments to help customers now, but which also lay the foundation for the next step in the company's development. For Susanna, there was never any hesitation in staying in the travel industry and choosing Lingmerths as the next step in her career. With her solid experience behind her, she sees the future for the industry.
– We certainly face major challenges and are working very hard to adapt to the new situation in society. We will take advantage of the opportunities that are being created right now and stay at the forefront. At the same time, we will never lose focus on what has always been our success concept – a personal and close travel agency that, with competence, a sense of responsibility and a high level of commitment, helps our customers achieve their goals every day, says Susanna.
Susanna is having her first day at Lingmerths Linköping today, September 15. Lingmerths CEO, Mikael Lundberg, is on hand to welcome Susanna.
