Liseberg and the construction company NCC have agreed to begin the demolition work and the cleanup of Oceana's water world, both parties write in their respective press releases. There is currently no end date for the work.
”"It is a complex assignment, where the attraction tower, the pool hall roof and the load-bearing glulam beams will likely need to be demolished, while it is important to avoid further damage to surfaces that have so far survived the fire," NCC writes in a press release.
One person died in the large fire that broke out at Oceana in mid-February.
