Low-cost airline Wizz Air is raising its guidance for net profit for the full year 2020. The company now forecasts a net profit of between 350 and 355 million euros compared to previously 335 to 350 million euros.

The company announces this in connection with the report for the third quarter of the broken fiscal year.  

CEO Jozsef Varadi writes in the report that reinvestments after the strong first half of the year in the first half of the third quarter mean that the company will grow faster in the fourth quarter.

”The company will benefit from this growth in the next financial year as new routes are in place for the important summer period,” he writes. 

Market conditions and competitive prospects remain favorable and fuel prices remain stable, he writes further.
