Low-cost airlines increased passenger numbers in December

The two low-cost airlines Ryanair and Wizz Air increased the number of passengers in December compared to the previous year.

Ryanair had 12.5 million passengers in December, an increase of 9 percent from the same month the previous year. The cabin factor was 91 percent in December.

Wizz Air increased its passenger numbers by 18.8 percent to 5.0 million in December, compared to the same month last year. The previous month, growth was 29.3 percent. The cabin factor was 82.1 percent.
