Even though the war in the Middle East is causing concern in the energy markets, Swedes' vacation plans are not in danger, according to the Swedish Energy Agency.
The reason is that Sweden is not as dependent on oil and gas from the area as it imports mainly from the North Sea.
– In Sweden and the Nordic countries, we are most affected by price changes, says Caroline Asserup, Director General of the Swedish Energy Agency, in a press release.
However, this could change if the situation in global energy markets worsens.
