Lufthansa increased the number of passengers by 4.8 percent to 9.1 million in January, compared to the same month the previous year.
The previous month, growth was 6.9 percent. If traffic is measured in revenue passenger kilometers, RPK, the airline increased by 8.1 percent during the month. The previous month, growth was 10.6 percent.
Capacity, measured as ASK, increased by 7.3 percent during the month. The previous month, growth was 11.0 percent.
The cabin factor increased by 0.6 percentage points to 76.2 percent during the month. The previous month, the cabin factor was 78.5 percent.
