Lufthansa invests billions in new aircraft

German airline Lufthansa has placed an order for 22 aircraft from both Boeing and Airbus, according to a news release from the airline.

The order is for ten Airbus A350-1000s, five Airbus A350-900s and seven Boeing 787-9s.

Based on list prices, the order is worth a total of approximately USD 7.5 billion, equivalent to approximately SEK 79 billion, and is in line with the Group's medium-term financial planning.

Delivery is scheduled to begin in the mid-2020s.
