The German airline Lufthansa will likely not enter the fight for Norwegian.
This is stated by three sources with insight into the matter to Bloomberg News.
According to the information, the German company may indeed take a look at Norwegian, but at the same time, the Norwegian company's large debt is said to be too big an obstacle to moving forward.
The other week it became known that IAG is interested in Norwegian. The British company has bought 4.6 percent of the shares. On Thursday, in connection with the interim report, Norwegian's CEO and major owner Bjørn Kjos said that the company has received expressions of interest from several other "serious" airlines.
