German airline Lufthansa has decided to cancel around 600-700 flights per day for the next two days due to a strike called by cabin crew members in the UFO union. Around 180,000 passengers are affected.
This is stated in a press release. On Thursday, 700 of Lufthansa's 3,000 planned flights will be canceled. On Friday, 600 flights will be canceled. Even then, the company had previously planned for 3,000 flights. This means that just over 20 percent of Lufthansa's flights on the relevant days will be canceled.
