Data: Lufthansa to cut 30,000 employees next year

German airline giant Lufthansa will have shed 29,000 employees this year. Next year, another 30,000 will be forced to leave the group, 10,000 of them in Germany, the Bild am Sonntag newspaper reported, citing sources.

According to the newspaper, Lufthansa expects travel will not reach pre-pandemic levels until 2025.

Lufthansa will also sell the catering company LSG, with 7,500 employees.
