The first of Lumiwing's direct flights to Tuzla in Bosnia departs as early as 18 December 2023.
The new collaboration with Lumiwings is an important step in the long-term plan to put the airport on the national and international aviation map.
Stockholm Skavsta Airport is one of five chosen destinations in a larger tender process by Tuzla International Airport, with Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Germany in focus. It is already possible to book tickets for flights from Stockholm Skavsta Airport with the Greek operator Lumiwings.
We are delighted that Lumiwings is launching a new direct route from Stockholm Skavsta Airport as they have not previously served the airport. Tuzla, which was previously served by Wizz Air, is a much-requested destination and it is pleasing to once again offer Tuzla to our travellers, says Jesper Fredmark, CEO, Stockholm Skavsta Airport.
The new direct route will service Stockholm Skavsta Airport twice a week year-round.
