Two of China's largest airports – Beijing Capital Airport in Beijing and Beijing Daxing in the same city – are dropping the requirement for a negative test for COVID-19, Reuters reports, according to Marketwire.

Those arriving at airports are no longer required to show a negative test result, writes the state-run Beijing News. According to Reuters, the new rules will take effect from Tuesday.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Direkt news agency reported that a negative PCR test is no longer required to enter supermarkets and certain commercial buildings in Beijing, but is still required in places such as internet cafes, bars and gyms.
