Major power outage in Norway – airport closed

A widespread power outage has hit Bodø in Northern Norway, according to reports. NRK

The electricity company Arva states that 3,802 customers are affected and that work is underway to locate and fix the fault. According to the company's forecast, the electricity should be back by 10 PM on Tuesday evening at the latest. 

The power outage is also affecting Bodø Airport.

– We are not accepting any departures or arrivals at the moment, says Helene W. Jensen, communications officer at the state-owned airport operator Avinor, to NRK.
