For the winter, Ving sees an increase of 88 percent more booked trips from Norrköping Airport to the Canary Islands compared to last year. Ahead of the upcoming autumn holidays, there are only a few seats left. For the summer, Ving flies to Cyprus and Croatia, and now there is also good news for all Mallorca fans, as the popular Balearic island is making a comeback in Ving's program from Norrköping after a year's hiatus.

– In the last month, travel has been going at a rapid pace and compared to last year, we have seen an increase of 100 percent and in the previous week alone, sales from Norrköping Airport doubled. So there is certainly a desire to get away, both in the near future and for next summer. That is why it feels great that we will once again fly to Mallorca as we know that it is both an appreciated and long-awaited favorite among the people of Östergötland. It will be a nice complement to Croatia and Cyprus, says Claes Pellvik, Head of Communications at Ving.

On Saturday, October 28, Ving's winter season will begin from Norrköping Airport with the first flight to Gran Canaria. The following day, October 29, traffic will start to Tenerife. Ving will then fly to both Canary Islands every weekend until the end of March next year. The first flights, which start the school autumn holidays, are in high demand and now there are only spare seats left.

Mallorca, which was last in Ving's program from Norrköping Airport, in 2022, will be the first to be removed when the summer season starts. The first flight will depart on Walpurgisday and then Ving will offer trips to the island until midsummer. In May, the direct charter to Croatia will also start with departures until August. In June, Ving will also start operating to Cyprus and will do so until the end of September. The fact that Ving is investing in Norrköping and relaunching Mallorca is also good news for the airport.

– Mallorca with Ving is a classic from Norrköping that we are happy only took a break in 2023 and is now back next summer. In addition, we know that there are many happy exercise enthusiasts and early sun worshippers who appreciate being able to go to the beautiful island already at Walpurgisday., says Peter Jansson, CEO, Norrköping Airport.
