A man has been arrested for involvement in the bomb threat against Billund Airport in Jutland on Saturday.

The man is in his 30s. The detention hearings were held behind closed doors and the judge chose to follow the prosecution's wish to keep the case under strict confidentiality. It is therefore not known what the man is suspected of, who he is or how he responds to the charges.

The airport, Denmark's second largest, was closed for several hours on Saturday. It only reopened in the evening after police removed an object suspected of containing explosives.

It was then destroyed on Saturday in a controlled explosion by the Armed Forces.
