I have decided to leave my position as Acting Tourism Manager for Öland's Tourism Organization. I feel it is time to challenge myself and take the next step in my career. It feels like the right time, especially considering that there will be a new CEO and that the organization is so stably positioned with a fantastic staff who love Öland.

The idea was actually to come out with this in August, so as not to take the focus away from all the wonderful activities we have here on Öland in the middle of the summer season. Right now it's Victoria Days and there's hardly anything better than that, right? So I'll keep it short and just want to say thank you for these years. Thank you for the incredible inspiration I've received by meeting all of you fantastic entrepreneurs and those of you who work in our two municipalities! You are the ones who make Öland alive and I'm convinced that you will continue to drive the development of this fabulous place forward!

Now it's time to focus on all our visitors and show them what an incredible island we have the privilege of living and working on! I am absolutely sure that you will give them an unforgettable experience.

I will remain in my position until the end of September.
