
Mari Tara becomes the new CEO of Idre Himmelfjäll. Idre Himmelfjäll is the first major investment in a new ski resort in over 30 years in the Swedish mountains. The resort has been established in record time and has also recently been named Brand of the Year 2022 by Dalarna Business.
Mari Tara has extensive experience in the industry and looks forward to continuing the work of developing Idre Himmelfjäll.

Current CEO Torbjörn Wallin has previously announced that he is stepping down as CEO due to family reasons. Mari Tara is moving from a job as CEO of the Grönklittsgruppen to the newly started mountain resort Idre Himmelfjäll. The resort has quickly established itself as a favorite resort for many families with children. Just three years after opening, the resort has over 3,500 beds, 23 slopes, 9 lifts, restaurant, reception, convenience store, ski shed, ski school, Sami activities, snowmobile rental, dog sledding and cross-country ski trails.
