Ulfsunda Castle and Åkeshof Castle in Bromma have new management. After the New Year, Maria Carboni took up her post as the new director of destination. Maria was most recently with Svenska Brasserier, where her roles included restaurant manager for Riche, Luzette, and Taverna Brillo.

-I am truly looking forward to being part of the journey and developing Ulfsunda Slott into a meeting place for art, gastronomy and champagne, and to continuing Åkeshofs Slott's journey of being a green food destination, says Maria Carboni, new destination director for Ulfsunda Slott and Åkeshofs Slott.

Maria Carboni was born in Färila and grew up in Hälsingland. Maria's background is in the hospitality industry, where she has developed and managed several large brasseries, bars, and restaurants.

She has worked for 18 years within Svenska Brasserier in Stockholm with several of the group's establishments such as Riche, Teatergrillen, Luzette, and Taverna Brillo. She is a board member of the Visita Stockholm & Gotland regional board and is certified in professional board work.

I have extensive experience of working within the restaurant industry with important cultural heritage where fashion, music, and art have been central, which has given me both artistic and business experience. The hospitality industry has always been an obvious choice in life for me, continues Maria.

- I am really pleased to have Maria on board with the company. With Maria's experience and gravitas from the restaurant industry, I am convinced that both Ulfsunda Slott and Åkeshofs Slott will strengthen their positions within meetings, gastronomy, and experiences, says Maria Norberg, CEO of Stockholm Meeting Selection.

According to a press release.
