He will also be part of HKC Hotels' management team. Martin has a solid background in the hotel industry and most recently comes from Best Western Hotel Mektagonen in Gothenburg where he worked as hotel manager for 6 years.

Today, HKC Hotels operates four hotels in Stockholm, Malmö, Örebro and Hudiksvall. Åbyhotellet will thus be the first in the Gothenburg region and the group's largest hotel.

The hotel, which will become a member of Best Western Hotels & Resorts, will have 223 rooms directly adjacent to both the racetrack and the new fair. Martin will take up the position in May 2018.
