On Monday, mediators will begin trying to find ways out of the threat of a strike by SAS pilots, according to information from the airline to TT.
SAS operates in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, and in all three countries negotiations on new collective agreements have stalled. On Thursday, the Swedish Pilots' Association announced a strike starting on June 29.
On Friday, three mediators were appointed: Jan Sjölin, former contract secretary in the trade union Kommunal, Claes Stråth, former director general of the Swedish Mediation Institute, and Cecilia Fahlberg Pihlgren, former chairwoman of the trade union Unionen.
