
In a short time, the police have found two people who have worked at Arlanda Airport in random checks and who do not have the right to reside in Sweden. On Friday, Swedavia, the Swedish Transport Agency and the police will meet to discuss the security shortcomings, writes Dagens Nyheter.
A Russian citizen with a tourist visa was discovered on Friday working as an aircraft mechanic, something Aftonbladet was first to report. A few days earlier, a man from South America was discovered working in a restaurant despite being wanted due to deportation orders.
The two people have passed the security checks required to work at the airport.
Last winter, it was revealed that three Uzbek citizens without residence permits were working as cleaners in police premises at Arlanda.
