SMHI has issued a high-temperature alert across the whole of Götaland and along the entire east coast, meaning it could become so hot that at-risk groups experience problems. However, no warnings have been issued.
Cooler temperatures are expected in the north, with rain and showers moving eastwards across Norrland towards the end of the week.
