After being nominated once before, Mihaela Pricop, 43, has now won the Department Manager of the Year award at Comfort Hotel's own awards ceremony in connection with Nordic Choice Hotel's major winter conference.

In conjunction with the annual conference ''VK'', where approximately 3,500 Nordic Choice Hotels employees gather for inspiration and awards, the hotel chain Comfort Hotel usually holds its own award ceremony, the ''Comfort Awards''. The purpose is to honor employees who have excelled during the past year. One of the most prestigious awards is Department Manager of the Year, which this year went to Comfort Hotel Gothenburg's housekeeping manager Mihaela Pricop. 

As housekeeping manager at Comfort Hotel Gothenburg, Mihaela is responsible for maintaining the standard of Comfort Hotel Gothenburg's 289 hotel rooms and for keeping the hotel's public areas, bar and restaurant clean and fresh. Mihaela has 25 housekeepers in her team who help maintain the standard.

– Mihaela is a true role model for all of us who work at the hotel. She shows energy, courage and enthusiasm in everything she does and in every project she takes on. It is an honor for me to have Mihaela as a department manager in the team and I am very proud that she has won the award for Department Manager of the Year, says Magnus Östlund, hotel director at Comfort Hotel Gothenburg.
