Minimum two-month waiting period for passport

Remove

There is still at least a two-month waiting period to get a new passport, reports TT.

The reason is continued long queues in the wake of the pandemic and delivery problems.

According to Per Engström, who is head of the special passport event, one million more people than usual have wanted to make a passport this year, writes TT.

To avoid having similarly long waiting times in the future, the police now want to be able to send out reminders to Swedes whose passports are about to expire.
