
Norwegian increased its passenger numbers by 708 percent to 1.005 million in November, compared to the same month a year earlier. The month before, growth was 277 percent to around 1.2 million passengers.
”The result shows that "We have succeeded well in adapting capacity to customers' travel needs. Spain is one of the markets where the number of bookings has been good. In the past month, we have made it even easier and safer for customers to book tickets by offering free rebooking, even for low-cost tickets," says Geir Karlsen, CEO of Norwegian.
If traffic is measured in revenue passenger kilometers, RPK, the airline increased by 1,007 percent during the month (340).
Capacity, measured as ASK, increased by 541 percent in November (195).
The cabin factor was 76.6 percent in November (82.7).
