The French low-cost airline Transavia France is expanding at Stockholm Arlanda and strengthening accessibility with another route to France from the Swedish market to Lyon, the country's third largest city.
After opening the Stockholm – Montpellier routes this summer and Stockholm – Paris Orly this autumn, the Air France group’s low-cost carrier Transavia France is now launching another direct connection between Sweden and France. Lyon is often called the capital of gastronomy and is located in southeastern France, close to the French Alps and a large number of ski resorts.
The route Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) – Lyon-Saint Exupéry (LYS) will be flown one day a week on Saturdays from January 29 to April 16, 2022. Tickets are on sale.
The airline also confirms that the Stockholm Arlanda - Paris Orly route will continue to be flown next summer with 3 departures per week, on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Transavia France has been operating at Stockholm Arlanda Airport since June 2021. Transavia France was founded in 2007 and is the low-cost airline of the AirFrance KLM group. In 2020, it opened a base in Montpellier and previously had bases in Paris-Orly, Nantes and Lyon. The company's aircraft fleet consisted of 40 Boeing 737–800 in 2020 and they offer over 100 destinations from France to mainly coastal cities in the Mediterranean countries and Europe.
