More people are choosing to tour by helicopter in the mountains as the pandemic begins to subside.
Now helicopter tourism is back to about the same level as 2019, according to the helicopter company Arctic Air, which operates in southern Lapland.
”The fact that more hikers are choosing helicopters is a growing problem,” says Daniel Skog, sustainability manager at STF.
