The number of people traveling to or from any of Swedavia's ten airports in Sweden increased by 1 percent in August compared to the same month last year, according to a press release from the airport operator.

In total, there were 3,869,000 travelers, of which 2,782,000 were international customers, an increase of 2 percent compared to last year. The number of domestic travelers decreased in August by 1 percent to 1,088,000.

The biggest change among Swedavia's airports was measured in Malmö, which saw a 10 percent increase in the number of international passengers during August compared to the same period a year ago.
