MSC Cruises reports another month of strong sales. May closes 45 percent better than the same period in 2019. "We had in our planning that Q1 would open slowly and that Q2 would increase more compared to the same period in 2019. But that we would end up around 50% higher in sales was not in our planning", says Claes Tamm, Head of the Nordic Region at MSC Cruises.

Claes Tamm continues; ”"However, we should be aware that the industry and not least the consumer have certain challenges ahead of the summer. I am thinking mainly of three things; the lack of flight capacity and the prices that follow, the waiting time for renewed passports and the extremely long queues at Arlanda due to Swedavia's lack of planning.".

”"In our daily dialogue with partners and end customers, we inform about the above points. This will certainly make many feel that they have to book their trip now and not wait until the last minute,", concludes Claes Tamm.
