A drone was observed over Arlanda Airport by security guards on Tuesday evening.

"We can confirm that drones have been seen over Arlanda," Eric Casselberg, an emergency officer at the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration, told TT.

– Right now we have adapted movement patterns, how to take off and land.

Otherwise, air traffic should not be affected by the incident.

The police cannot confirm that the sighting is of a drone, but are now working to obtain more information about the sighting.

– Hopefully there is also some type of documentation that can help us further, says police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.

This is the third day in a row that drones have been seen at the airport. On Monday night, several drones were observed at the site, and the following evening at least one more. Both incidents are being investigated as violations of the Protection Act and the Aviation Act. No one has yet been arrested.
