New major sale in Norwegian – leasing company dumps 48 million shares

Irish leasing company Aercap Holdings is joining the ranks of major shareholders dumping parts of their holdings in Norwegian. According to a stock exchange release from the airline, Aercap, through its wholly owned subsidiary Ballyfin Aviation, has sold just under 48 million shares.

Following the sale, Aercap Holdings controls just over 114 million shares, corresponding to approximately 3.1 percent of the capital and votes. In addition, the company has bonds that can be converted into 219.5 million Norwegian shares.

Last week it was reported that the largest owner, BOC Aviation, has sold 38.9 million shares in the airline.
