Aviation continues to recover. In November, 2.3 million passengers traveled through Swedavia's ten airports, 35 percent more than in November 2021.
”"We can see that air travel continues to recover during the month of November. This despite the uncertain global situation with increased living costs and the fact that demand during November is normally a relatively weaker month," says Jonas Abrahamsson, CEO of Swedavia, in a press release.
The largest number of passengers unexpectedly travelled from Arlanda, just over 1.5 million, of which 1.2 million were international travellers. According to Swedavia, international travel is now starting to approach the level before the outbreak of the pandemic.
