The flight will operate twice a week until October 2018. From Turin, Swedish ski travelers can easily reach Italian ski resorts such as Cervinia, Champoluc and Sestriere as well as French Serre Chevalier and La Grave. As the capital of Piedmont, Turin in northern Italy is also an exciting destination for anyone interested in food and drink from the region.

The airline Blue Air is now making it even easier for all ski travelers to fly directly to a location with convenient connections to ski resorts in the Alps. Turin is the second destination that Blue Air flies to and from Arlanda in addition to the direct route to Bucharest.

– We are pleased that Blue Air is expanding at Arlanda and is making a bet on Swedish ski enthusiasts this winter. There is still a strong need for an increased number of direct routes to Italy all year round as demand grows at a faster rate than supply as soon as new routes start. Over the past five years, air traffic to popular Italy has increased by 55 percent, says Elizabeth Axtelius, Aviation Marketing Director at Swedavia.

Blue Air departures from Arlanda to Turin take place on Tuesdays and Saturdays during the period January 20 to October 28, 2018.
