The airline BRA offers departures on Mondays and Thursdays in both directions with a flight time of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

From the beginning of March, BRA will be the only airline to offer a direct route between Gothenburg and Lyon. The Rhône-Alpes region is the largest industrial region in France and there is a significant Swedish presence there. The exchange between the two regions is of importance, especially for the automotive industry in Western Sweden, which is now facilitated by the new flight route.

In addition to a big city experience, Lyon offers proximity to some of the Alps' most popular ski resorts such as Les Deux Alps, Val Morel and La Grave. In addition, Lyon, the gastronomic capital of France, is located in the Rhone Valley, next to the Beaujolais and Burgundy wine regions.
