SAS is expanding traffic at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport and will open a new direct route to Germany's capital Berlin in winter 2018 with four departures a week.

Berlin is a dynamic metropolis that offers diversity as well as new trends in architecture, art and fashion.

Gothenburg Landvetter Airport is the fourth largest airport in Scandinavia. In 2018, SAS offers 14 direct routes from Gothenburg. Berlin will be a new addition for the winter with four departures per week and services will start on October 28.

– Gothenburg and Western Sweden are steadily increasing in interest and we welcome more German travelers to our region. At the same time, it is very pleasing that ahead of the winter season we can offer our private and business travelers a convenient way to reach the world city of Berlin, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Airport Director at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.

– We are pleased that our destinations and products have been so positively received. That is why we are strengthening our efforts ahead of the winter season by maintaining many flight routes and increasing the number of departures. We can also delight many travelers with newly established routes, says Rickard Gustafson, CEO of SAS.
