
Heavily indebted SAS will start a direct route from Gothenburg to New York starting in April.
The route will be operated with the Airbus A321 Long Range aircraft with three departures a week.
The plane will fly between Landvetter Airport outside Gothenburg and Newark Airport outside New York.
– We see a demand in cities outside the capitals and are happy to connect them with more parts of the world, says Erik Westman, Head of Communications at SAS, in a press release.
