German Lübeck Air is launching a brand new flight route to Scandinavian Mountains Airport, premiering on January 28, 2023. The route will operate on Saturdays during the winter season until April 8. This is the first German route to be launched to Sälen/Trysil and both the airline and the airport have high hopes.
– It is incredibly gratifying to be able to present this brand new flight route from Germany. It will be very exciting to see how the route is received by the northern Germans who we know love our beautiful mountain environment, snow and winter sports. Our uniquely short transfer times to the ski resorts in combination with a first-class alpine family product give us a good starting position. Says Gunnar Lenman, CEO at Scandinavian Mountains Airport.
– We are convinced that Germany will be a large and important market in the future and with this new route we hope that more German airlines will take notice of us, continues Gunnar Lenman.
– An extra bonus with this new line is that we who live in the area can now quickly and easily get down to Germany, concludes Gunnar Lenman.
