Dangerously high temperatures are still affecting parts of North America, Asia and Southern Europe, reports TT.

In China, a new record has probably been set during Sunday – at 52.2 degrees, several weather services report.

The listing is still preliminary.

The British Met Office writes on Twitter that several heat records in Southern Europe will likely be broken during the coming week.
