A new type of mosquito net over the bed can be used to knock out malaria-carrying mosquitoes' resistance to a common insecticide.
According to a British study involving 15,000 children in Tanzania.
The mosquito net is treated with a special chemical that blocks the mosquitoes' defenses against the pyrethroid agent.
The study is published in the scientific journal The Lancet. The results have already led the World Health Organization (WHO) to recommend the use of mosquito nets.
