After more than 350 cases of infection in the last two weeks, most of them the delta variant, Iceland is reintroducing corona restrictions.
Among other things, residents must wear face masks indoors and restaurants and bars are not allowed to stay open longer than 11 p.m.
Iceland lifted all restrictions on those who are vaccinated in June, and foreign visitors were welcomed back. A negative test result no more than 72 hours old is now required to enter the country.
