Flygbussarna is now launching real-time information on its website and in its app.
This means that the times shown when searching for departures are real-time data, i.e. based on the bus's current position.
Many of Flygbussarna's customers use the app and website to search for departures before a trip or when they are at a bus stop. Until now, the time shown has been based on timetable data. If the bus has been delayed, the customer has not received that information.
Real-time information for airport buses can be displayed for buses that are in service. The bus must have left the starting stop for real-time information to begin being displayed.
“If the customer searches too far in advance, real-time data cannot be displayed, because the bus has not yet started its route. In those cases, timetable data is still displayed, i.e. the bus's expected arrival time according to the timetable,” explains Camilla Tienso.
