New stricter corona requirements for travel to Norway

Remove

Starting today, the corona requirements for entering Norway are being tightened again. Covid tests are required of all unvaccinated people and everyone – even fully vaccinated – must register before crossing the border.

– This means we have more control, says Hanna Rydlöv, municipal chief physician in Trysil, Norway.

As the number of corona infections increases in Norway, some border controls are being reintroduced. This affects everyone who crosses the border, not least all commuters in counties such as Dalarna, Jämtland and Värmland. In addition to mandatory registration, a corona test is now required of everyone who is not fully vaccinated to be allowed across the border – regardless of whether they come from an area in Sweden that is green on the infection map or not.

– I think that in the future we will be able to get even more testing, but I do not think that the border will be completely closed as before, says Hanna Rydlöv.
