Visit Sweden's latest Target Group Survey among Nordic travelers* shows that a desire to experience Swedish cities, as well as culinary and cultural experiences, are high on the list of things to do on a holiday to Sweden. West Sweden
- Hjortviken is Sweden's first country club opens in January. Located by a lake near Gothenburg, this resort offers 150 rooms, two pools and a cuisine that combines Spanish and Swedish flavors. - Waxholms Hotel This historic hotel in the coastal town of Vaxholm, known as the Gateway to the Stockholm Archipelago, has new owners in Stefan Strömberg and Jesper Ahlbom. With a clear vision, they strive to transform the 120-year-old landmark into a modern destination for food and lifestyle, characterized by joy and a warm atmosphere. The doors are expected to open to this archipelago retreat only 50 minutes by car or boat from Stockholm in late 2025.
- Hagastrand, Stockholm Located near Hagaparken in Stockholm, Hagastrand guests will enjoy wellness, nature and modern luxury. - Landskrona Cold Bath House Inaugurated at the beginning of 2025 Landskrona long-awaited cold bathhouses in Skane. The new bathhouse, designed by local architects magazineA, replaces two previous buildings that were destroyed in storms. Through large glass walls, visitors can enjoy a magnificent view of the Öresund and Copenhagen. However, Landskrona Kallbadhus is more than just a bathhouse – what is offered here is a typical Swedish experience where well-being meets adventure. Cold bathhouse, inspired by 19th century continental spas, began to appear in Sweden in the late 19th century and is still a valued tradition today.

The Swedish diva" at Millesgården In February, the art gallery at Millesgården will be transformed into a winding mirror cabinet dedicated to the female and queer star in the new exhibition ”EXTAS!
