Fireworks fans will get a glimpse of a colorful sky as Tivoli kicks off its final fireworks show of the year, New Year's Eve. It's going to be a lot of fun when Tivoli's fireworks explode with rockets, Roman candles and stars on New Year's Eve at 11:00 PM, an hour before it really gets going in Copenhagen!
Shows of the year
This year, a brand new fireworks show has been designed with a new color theme that spreads across Tivoli, so that the rest of Copenhagen will also have the pleasure of seeing if they look up over the old amusement park at 11 p.m.
Fireworks Gunnar B Knudsen says:
”The last day of the year ends with a big and festive fireworks show filled with stars, bombettes and lots of Roman candles. The fireworks will be launched at a height of 120 meters, so that many outside Tivoli can also participate and enjoy the New Year's party. We're launching everything at 11 pm, one hour before the New Year's bells at midnight, so we're getting a little early for the new year.”

Christmas in Tivoli can be experienced until January 4th, so you can only get the last dose of Christmas spirit at the beginning of the new year. The fireworks show may be canceled in case of poor visibility or extreme weather.
