Hemavan Alpint, together with Book North Travel and Polar Tours, presents exciting news for mountain enthusiasts who want to travel sustainably and affordably to Hemavan this winter.
Saturday, January 25th, will be the first bus trip in the new ski bus initiative that Hemavan Alpint and Polar Tours are implementing together with the joint sales and product company Book North Travel. This initiative marks the start of a more sustainable and easy travel between Norway and Sweden, with the aim of making Hemavan and Helgeland accessible for more people to visit.
– This is a first step in establishing a more sustainable travel to and from Hemavan while making Hemavan's fantastic mountain area accessible for more people to discover. Mo i Rana, Mosjøen and Sandnessjøen are our first destinations and our goal is to eventually be able to offer more travel periods and destinations in both Norway and Sweden. We also hope that our visitors and residents of Hemavan will in the future be able to travel to the beautiful Helgeland coast by bus. This says Pontus Lindh, Marketing Manager at Hemavan Alpint.
Vidar Spørk is General Manager at Polar Tours and has this to say about the opportunity to drive guests across the border this winter:
– For us, this is about offering a holistic experience where the journey is just as enjoyable as the experience on site in Hemavan. We see this as a way to strengthen cross-border tourism between Helgeland and Hemavan, and we look forward to welcoming travelers aboard our buses this winter.
